About Us

Foundation's history, impact, and core values.

The Morisaac Development Foundation (MDF) emerged from a compassionate desire to address the multifaceted challenges faced by widows/widowers and aged, less privileged individuals, and children who have lost their parents at a tender age. Established in 2021, the organization was founded by a philanthropist to creating positive change and providing comprehensive support to these vulnerable groups.

Recognizing the unique struggles and hardships faced by widows, the less privileged, and orphaned children, MDF was established with a commitment to offering a multifaceted support system that addresses their various needs:

  • Empowerment of Widows: The Foundation initiated programs aimed at empowering widows by providing them with skill development opportunities, vocational training, and access to resources that enable financial independence. It also offered emotional support and guidance to help them navigate their challenging circumstances.
  • Support for the Less Privileged: MDF recognized the broader needs of the less privileged in society and focused on initiatives that provided basic necessities such as food, shelter, healthcare, and educational support. The organization aimed to uplift these individuals by offering opportunities for sustainable livelihoods and community development programs.
  • Care for Orphaned Children: Understanding the vulnerability of children who have lost their parents at a young age, the Foundation extended its support to provide educational scholarships, emotional counseling, healthcare services, and mentorship. The aim was to ensure that these children could grow up in a nurturing environment that allowed them to thrive despite their difficult circumstances.

From its inception, MDF operated with the philosophy that a holistic approach is essential in supporting these vulnerable groups. The Foundation’s programs were designed not only to offer immediate aid but also to foster long-term empowerment and sustainable development within the communities they served. As the Foundation grew, it collaborated with local governments, international organizations, and community leaders to expand its reach and impact. MDF conducted advocacy campaigns, raising awareness about the issues faced by widows, the less privileged, and orphaned children, while also lobbying for policy changes that would benefit these marginalized groups.

Through the years, MDF has witnessed numerous success stories, witnessing the transformation of lives within the communities it serves. The Foundation’s impact has been notable, not just in terms of immediate aid provided, but in the long-term positive changes it has brought about in the lives of those it supports.

The Morisaac Development Foundation remains dedicated to its vision of creating a society where widows, the less privileged, and orphaned children have access to opportunities, support, and resources that enable them to lead fulfilling lives. Guided by a commitment to compassion and empowerment, the Foundation continues to be a catalyst for positive change and a beacon of hope for those in need.
